On June 14-17, the seminar was held on the topic “Planning and managing ecotourism in the Republic of Karakalpakstan with a special focus on the Ustyurt Plateau” implemented by GIZ. Trainers and tourism consultants Mascontour Dr. Nicol Haeusler, Martin Petrich and Franziska Rottig and Deputy Director of the Tourism Development Institute Barno Mamedova, Dr. Elena Bykova from “Saiga Conservation Alliance” participated in the seminar with their presentations. And also during the seminar, we went to Dawitkol lake to find out what are the prospects for the development of tourism in the Aral Sea National Park.
